2 Corinthians 2:14-15 – 14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

 Matthew 16:21-23 –  From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. 22 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” 23 Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”

 2 Corinthians 5:19 – That God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

 John 1:29 – The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

 John 1:18 – No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

 Matthew 20:18-19 – “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death 19 and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!”

Psalm 30:5 – For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;
 weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
